A NEW KTM 1290 ‘Super Adventure’ has been spotted testing in production-ready the new adventure spotted with sporting a larger fuel tank, engine crash bars, and a revised front fairing, screen, and side panels with larger air vents compared to the 1190 Adventure.
The tank decals suggest it uses a version of the 180hp 1301cc V-Twin engine from the 1290 Super Duke R. Assuming the 1290 motor hasn’t been retuned for less horsepower in exchange for extra torque 
– and with over 106ftlb in stock form, it certainly doesn’t need any more grunt – the engine upgrade gives the already potent 1190 adventure a 32hp power hike. Look out for more KTM press release!
