As the latest generation of Yamaha moped, this new version has a variety of innovations and changes in comparison with its old version.
In terms of design, the Y15ZR is design to be more sporty and futuristic in comparison LC135.
Design
Rear brake light and signal have been separated and no longer integrated. This design brings the tail lights looks sharp and is similar to the R25.
Modern dashboard
The Yamaha Y15ZR dashboard brings a modern and sophisticated appeal. The dashboard using a combination of analog and digital is also similar to that used by R25. The dashboard contains information about the Y15ZR speed indicator, tachometer, gear indicator, fuel gauge, indicator headlights, turn signal.
New 150cc Engine with Fuel Injection
The Yamaha Y15ZR comes with fuel injection and new engines that are larger than the previous version (135 cc) 4 stroke, SOHC, 5 speed with a liquid cooling system. The machine is capable of removing up to a maximum power of 11.3 kW (15.4 PS) / 8500 rpm and torque of 13.8 Nm and up (1.4 kgf.m) / 7000 rpm. The engine, is similar with the FZ150. Claimed top speed at 136 km / h.
The Yamaha Y15ZR also has implemented a Yamaha injection technology (YMJET-FI) so that the fuel consumption is quite economical. Fuel capacity is 4.7 litres.
Disc Brakes
The front using hydraulic disc brakes diameter 245 mm, while the rear uses hydraulic disc diameter of 203 mm.
New Tire Size
The new tire width tubeless which the size of the tire front 70/90/17 and rear 120/70/17 (Vietnam Models. With these tires sizes, this bike will be able to go steady on the streets.
Yamaha Y15ZR replaces the Y125Z two strokes, as two strokes will be phased out. The Y15ZR looks sportier and performance wise with the new 150cc engine will captivate the younger commuter. Price will be disclosed at the Saturday launch.
