Givi Asia together with Givista Community had their first ride of 2020 to Cameron Highland. From the rendezvous point at Rawang R&R, around 11 am the group of 50 riders big bikes and small bikes from the Givista Community took off together and rode out to Cameron Highland via Simpang Pulai, (Simpang Pulai-CH Route A181.

The Givista Community had lunch at Restaurant Tasik Raban. After lunch, the Givista headed towards Simpang Pulai to the twisty Second East-West Highway and exit toward Cameron Highland. Over 100 twisty corners and 265km to the destination. After about 1 hour going the twisty uphill, they reached a T-junction. If you go straight, you will end up in Gua Musang so be careful of this right turn off, into Kampung Raja, then towards Brinchang. Traffic in Cameron Highlands market area was really bad with slow moving cars, especially around 10 am to 3 pm!

The Givistas Community was joined by Belgium’s adventure and solo traveler rider Bert Boute, after 11 months on this round the world adventure, Bert has gone through 25 countries, and over 30,000 over kilometers on his Honda Transalp 600. Bert shares his experiences and his journey during a sharing session after BBQ dinner at Dear Dino Villa where the Givista Community took the night. The night temperature dropped to 16 degrees, felt chiller that 16 degree in Milan, Italy. Next destination for Bert will be Australia as he continues his journey to South and North America. He said it would take him 2-3 years to complete his world tour.
