Now as the Covid19 restrictions are being lifted, it looks like we can start riding again. For me, that means making for all the lost riding time of 1 1/2 years, and I’m sure everyone feels the same. Restrictions being lifted for Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor. Crossing to other states are still not allowed.
With this in mind, we pulled together our guide to Malaysia’s best B-roads. These short getaways do relieve the stress caused by the pandemic.
Note: Following Strict SOPs, this guide is for individual whom have completed 2nd dose with 14days period. Solo riding only. Group Convoys are still not advisable.
Shell Batu 9 – Ulu Langat B116 – Genting Peres
If you’re into twisty roads this is one of our favourite routes (the usual ride would be a longer route but all the routes in this article ends at the state borders)

Petronas BBS Fasa 2 – Ulu Yam Baru – Pondok Polis Sempadan Genting
Distance: 42 km
Ride Time: Approx 47 mins (one way)
Petronas BBS Fasa 2 – Ulu Yam Baru – Kuala Kubu Bahru – The Gap (Fraser Hills)
Distance: 80km
Ride Time: Approx 1 hour 49mins (one way)
BBS Fasa Dua – Hulu Yam Bahru- KKB – Kampung Serigala – Kampung Soeharto – B27 – Batu Arang – Selayang
If you are looking for a longer route and loop then this would be the best scenic route to take.
