Fans of iconic Japanese helmet manufacturer, Arai and local Moto2 rider Azlan Shah, will now be able to buy their favourite Arai design in any shape, size and model designation with less hassle than previously as its distribution, sales and marketing are now is available officially in Malaysia.
KLCL Enterprise Sdn Bhd, a Singapore-based entity has set-up its distribution office-cum-warehouse in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Also known as The Arai Technical Shop, which is located at the Setapak Commercial centre next to KL Festival City shopping mall. The Arai brand of helmets are also available from the authorised dealers in the Klang Valley and around the country as the official distribution is now handled by KLCL.
Another good news for Arai helmet owners are repairs, genuine parts availability and manufacturer’s warranty are provided by for each helmet sold by KLCL and its network of authorised dealers.
The attraction to entice motorcyclists to visit its new showroom-cum-technical shop, there is a giant-sized replica of 5-time 500cc World Champion Australian Michael Doohan’s Arai helmet on display that greets visitors upon entering the venue where they can pose for photos or a Selfie as i did.
On the official opening of KLCL Arai’s Technical shop was on 21st September 2014, KLCL had also invited Malaysian Moto2 rider Azlan Shah of Team Idemitsu Honda Asia to autograph his Arai replica helmets purchased by his fans. Prices for the range of Arai’s conventional helmet are available from RM1,550 onwards while the racer-replicas of 500cc/MotoGP riders are from RM2,500 onwards.
KLCL Enterprise Sdn Bhd is located at Unit D-01-3A, Setapak Commercial Centre, 68, Jalan Taman Ibu Kota and opens six days a week from Monday to Saturday. Opening hours are from 10am till 7.3opm. Closed on Sunday and public holidays.
