Didi Group, the sole distributor for Aprilia bikes in Malaysia, launched the new Aprilia SR GT Replica and Aprilia RS 660 Extrema during an exclusive Malaysian GrandPrix 2023 Meet and Greet featuring the Aprilia Racing Team pilots, Aleix Espagaro and Maverick Vinales.

Aprilia SR GT, the “urban adventure” scooter from Aprilia designed to rediscover the fun in daily riding, makes its début in the special and super-sporty Replica version with aesthetics taken directly from the Aprilia RS-GP, the bike ridden by Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales, protagonists in the 2023 MotoGP World Championship.

The sporty lines of the Aprilia SR GT take on an even grittier look to transform city commutes and longer rides – easily within the SR GT’s capabilities – into a unique thrill. So you can stand out at any given time, thanks to the racing spirit every Aprilia vehicle carries within itself.
The Aprilia SR GT Replica’s matt black colour scheme is enhanced by the same red and purple graphics that characterise the elegant fairings of the Aprilia Racing factory team’s Aprilia RS-GP, one of the most painstakingly designed and technologically cutting-edge prototypes on the MotoGPstarting grid, and by the characteristic Aprilia logo that runs diagonally along the side and central tunnel. These, as well as the passenger grab handle, are also now finished in matt black.

Exactly like the MotoGP bikes born out of the Noale racing department, the wheel rims are painted black and red detail stands out on the channel of the front wheel. In line with the racing spirit, the equipment package also includes tyres with a sporty street tread design instead of the slightly knobby “all terrain” tyres that characterise the other versions, Aprilia SR GT and SR GT Sport.

For those wanting to further personalise their SR GT Replica, making it even more like the RS-GP machines that compete on tracks all over the world, the racing numbers of the two Aprilia Racing factory MotoGP riders, Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales, are included. Just one more touch that brings the SR GT Replica even closer to the MotoGP world.

Aprilia RS 660 Extrema
Aprilia presents Extrema, the sportiest version of the current RS 660 model range. The name is reminiscent of that of the Aprilia 125 Extrema, one of the highest performances and fastest eighth-litre ever, manufactured from 1992 to 1994.

Thanks to its refined and new standard equipment, RS 660 Extrema tips the scale with an amazing dry weight of 166 kg and sets a new bar in terms of weight to power ratio (which comes in at 100 HP, a record in its class) which, as we all know, is fundamental for fun on the road and effective riding on the track.
This milestone is achieved by the special standard equipment which includes, first and foremost, a new and lighter street-legal exhaust system by SC Project with carbon silencer positioned on the right side (and no longer beneath the engine). It also comes with the black anodised aluminium silencer bracket which allows you to remove the passenger footpegs, leading to even lighter weight. Also contributing to the overall reduction in weight are the front mudguard and the new belly pan with a brand new design, both made of high quality carbon.

The sporty nature of RS 660 Extrema is also emphasised by the single-seat tail fairing, which replaces the passenger seat to enhance the sleek design of the rear area. The passenger seat comes with the bike, which maintains its two-up riding approval. In addition to the standard electronics on the RS 660 (which include traction control, cornering ABS, engine brake, engine map, and wheelie control – all adjustable) RS 660 Extrema also has software that allows you to set up quick shift in upside-down configuration. This means that the gearbox can be configured completely autonomously, without replacing any bike component, in street or race version – ideal for track days. The new dedicated white and red livery is clearly sport-inspired and contributes to making it recognisable at a glance.

The introduction selling price for SR GT 200 Replica is RM 20,900 whereas the Aprilia RS 660 Extrema introduction selling price is RM 79,900.
