Honda lacked the oomph in the intense 250cc supersport class with is single cylinder. In the beginning, the CBR250R was first released, many riders, who brought the CBR250R, as an entry level motorcycle and that’s just it.

July 2016 came, Indonesia’s Astra Honda revamp and introduce the two cylinder CBR250RR which promised a top of the class performance in the 250cc supersport class.

September 2020, Boon Siew Honda introduce a 250cc Racing Support Programme, which offer race-prepared Honda CBR250RR motorcycles at a discounted price to interested teams and riders in the MSBK250 class.

The basic spec of the bikes prepared by Boon Siew Honda with the full package valued at MYR50,000. However, teams and riders who opt to purchase these packages need only pay MYR30,000. This sets the benchmark price for the CBR250RR. Bear in mind this is a race only program.

December 2020, Boon Siew Honda unveil the CBR250RR to the public and surprised everyone with a launch price of RM25,999

Honda CBR250RR is equipped with the latest 250cc engine that produces optimal power,  torque and top speed for both urban and circuit routes. Whether stopped at a red light on city  road or riding at the circuit, the more responsive acceleration of the Honda CBR250RR allows the rider to shoot off leaving behind the traffic jam or his opponent on the circuit track. Supported by its lightweight, this model is able to provide a high performance yet more agile maneuvering ride between dense city lanes as well as to conquer race circuit corners.

Honda BigWing Setapak

Honda CBR250RR is equipped with a 40hp (30kw) 250cc engine that produces optimal power, 25 N⋅m (18 lbf⋅ft) torque @11,000rpm and top speed of over 180km/h.

Whether stopped at a red light on city, road or riding at the circuit, the more responsive acceleration of the Honda CBR250RR allows the rider to shoot off leaving behind the traffic jam or his opponent on the circuit track. Supported by its lightweight, this model is able to provide a high performance yet more agile manoeuvring ride between dense city lanes as well as to conquer race circuit corners. Among them, first in its class is a three riding modes with electronic control throttle.

March 2021, we had our very first ride on the CBR250RR at the Sepang Go-Kart Circuit (SGK) during Ee Tiong Motorsports New Year, New Confidence Superbike Riding Course. The CBR250RR which was owned by a YouTuber, Rizkie. We were fortunate to get to ride the CBR250RR for the day riding course. 

12th April 2021, we took delivery of a brand new CBR250RR. We would like give a BIG Thanks to Honda BigWing Setapak and Ee Tiong Motorsports for the speedy delivery of our new Baby 250.
