CFMoto Malaysia has revealed to us that the 250SR is already in production and awaiting Malaysia’s Vehicle Type Approval (VTA). The Chinese motorcycle company which has collaborated with the Austrian design company Kiska (Kiska designs the entire KTM range) in multiple models now with on the 250SR model. Kiska designs have been seen in the MT650 and 250NK which a currently available in Malaysia.
The 250SR’s aggressive stance is mated on the 250NK platform which produces 27.8 horsepower at 9,750rpm on a single-cylinder liquid cool engine.
Weigh-in at 165kg complete with TFF meter, upside-down front forks, and brakes by J.Juan. CFMoto dealer Tenaga Motor already open pre-booking of the 250SR and posted with a price of RM15,888. Let’s await the official launch date and test in July. The original launch date was supposed to be in Sepang end of May but since the covid19 pandemic, it has been rescheduled to July.
