LATEST MALAYSIAN MOTO2 TEAM FOR THE 2015 MOTO2 CHAMPIONSHIP

i-Moto had an exclusive preview of a new MOTO2 team from Malaysia held in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration. This special get together its for the team members and partners to foster their understanding and comradeship as they prepare for the greatest adventure in the 2015 MotoGP Moto2 Championship.

Team owner, JP Chin experessed his highest apperiaction and thanks the sponsor and partners whom have given tremendous support to Team JPMoto Racing before the championship opens in Qatar. JP Chin also stated Team JPMoto Racing is ready for the challenge and aim to prove that Malaysia has world class rider, mechanics and team crew, making Malaysian proud.

At the dinner, JP as he is fondly known amongst friends and colleagues, introduced the key members of Team JPMoto Racing – the rider Zaqhwan Zaidi, Managing Director Dato TJ Chin, team manager Raja Zaini, and Commercial Director Anthony Clark and crew member that will support the team through out the 2015 Moto2 season.

JPM Motorsport comes to Moto2 with a clear direction based on set racing objectives, with Asia Road Racing Championship’s Supersport champion Zaqhwan Zaidi riding for the JPMoto Racing Team (the rookie) along with the season campaigner Hafizh Syahrin of Petronas Team and Azlan Shah of Honda Mushashi will be the third Malaysian rider on the grid this season.

JPM Motorsport is entering Moto2 in order to create a 3-5 year opportunity for commercial partners to benefit from what we think will be a very successful team both on and off the track.

About Zaqhwan Zaidi

At a fresh age of 19, Zaqhwan has shown immense maturity, patience and intelligence in achieving tremendous success on track. His aggressiveness on the track is always a calculated one, and his attitude is to take it one lap at a time, one race at a time, and eventually one championship at a time. His rookie entry into the 2015 Moto2 is a natural progression, after winning all three championships that he participated in 2014.

He won the championships for the AAM Malaysian Cub Prix P130 series, the Malaysian SuperSeries Superbike A Series, and the Petronas Asia Road Racing Supersport 600cc Series, all in the same year last year. This is a feat that has not been achieved by anyone else before. Undoubtedly Zaqhwan has leveraged his god-gifted natural talent with endless commitment, hardwork and dedication to achieve outstanding results.

Meeting him off-track is an indication of the traits he brought to the racing tracks. Known to be calm and collected, this soft-spoken young man is a role model for extreme biker who values family and home life.
