Having participated in the M2 Project Fun Trackday on 17th March 2024 at the Melaka International Motorsport Circuit (MIMC), I can say it was a thrilling experience. We would like to thank M2 Project for the invitation. Been six year since we last rode here.

The 1.6km long track, though compact, offers a semi-technical layout that keeps drivers engaged throughout. However, it’s worth noting that the track tarmac had its fair share of potholes, which affected the overall smoothness of the ride.

Nevertheless, the MIMC holds a special place in the hearts of motorsport enthusiasts. Officially launched in 2009 (some unconfirmed 1999), it’s been a long six years since our last visit. Despite the time gap, the circuit still emanates the same electric atmosphere and excitement that drew us here initially.

The event itself was well-organized by M2 Project, with ample opportunities for participants to showcase their skills and enjoy some fun on the track for newbies. From novices to seasoned riders, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We were invited by M2 Project to guide the riders in Group B and C.

Overall, despite the holes and sandy track, the 1.6km long circuit offers semi-technical to riders to have fun and safe trackday with iRiDE Academy providing tips and techniques to the M2 Project Fun Trackday at MIMC, this trackday was a memorable experience for all of us. Here’s hoping for smoother resurface tarmac in the future, but until then, the thrill of the tracks keeps us coming back for more. Until the next track/circuit review. Coming next is Unimap Circuit, so stay tune!!! Thanks again M2 Project, they are located at 2, Jln IAN 3, Taman Angkasa Nuri, 76100 Durian Tunggal, Malacca.

Another big thanks is to RM Mart Sdn Bhd for providing Bridgestone tyres for all our bikes (2 Modenas Kawasaki Ninja ZX25R and 2 CFMoto Papio XO-1)
