The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will “NOT” acknowledge letter from MITI to conduct any cross-state movement effective now until Wednesday 21st of July.
According to the Inspector -General of Police, Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, the action was taken to ensure that no party misused the CIMS letter from MITI to travel across the state for the purpose of celebrating Aidiladha that falls this coming Tuesday.
He said the decision was made because of tracking an increase of the number of vehicles for the past two days on the national highways.
All roadblocks at the state border are instructed not to accept MITI documents as valid movement approvals for the period starting from 17th July until 21st July for any cross -state travel.
Movement for vaccination and health purposes is however allowed.
