Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Unveils 2025 Line-Up in Kuala Lumpur

The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team is ready to take on the 2025 MotoGP World Championship, unveiling its new team structure, refreshed bike livery, and ambitious plans at the 2025 Yamaha MotoGP Launch Event. Held at the W Hotel Kuala Lumpur, with the iconic Petronas Twin Towers as a backdrop, the event showcased Yamaha’s commitment to a strong comeback in the premier class.

New Leadership & Fresh Direction for Yamaha

A major highlight of the event was the introduction of Paolo Pavesio as the new Team Principal of Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP and Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing (YMR). Pavesio, previously Yamaha Motor Europe’s Director of Marketing & Motorsport, takes over from Lin Jarvis, who led the team since 1999. Jarvis will continue his involvement as Senior Advisor, ensuring a smooth transition.

Joining Pavesio in Yamaha’s leadership structure is Maio Meregalli, who continues his role as Team Director. Together, they unveiled Yamaha’s mid-term vision for 2025 and beyond, focusing on greater synergy between Yamaha Motor Company and Yamaha Motor Racing. The addition of Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP as a satellite team will provide valuable technical data to boost YZR-M1 development.

Quartararo & Rins Unveil the 2025 YZR-M1

Fabio Quartararo and Álex Rins took center stage, revealing their 2025 Yamaha YZR-M1 in its refreshed livery. This year’s bike features more prominent blue tones, representing Yamaha’s “Blue Shift” philosophy, while also incorporating subtle camouflage elements in a dynamic new design. The Monster Energy claw branding remains a defining feature, reinforcing the partnership between Yamaha and Monster Energy.
