MALAYSIAN press and media was given the first hand to experience the latest addition to the Vulcan cruiser family, the Kawasaki Vulcan S.
Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd (KMMSB) introduced the new Vulcan S to the media at the Lost World Tambun, Ipoh, Perak, earlier this week, the Kawasaki Vulcan S bring a sportier cruiser to the 650 cc category, which the company is excited to bring to the Malaysian motorcycle market.
The Vulcan S is powered by a 4 stroke, 649cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine, combined with a low seat and slim overall design with a perfect center of gravity.
During the model presentation, Mr. Jeffrey Lim, General Manager and Executive Director of Kawasaki Motors Malaysia said, “We are thrilled to present to you the Vulcan S for so many reasons. There is no doubt we have always been proud of the Vulcan series. The Vulcan is sporty, lightweight and stylish and introducing an Ergo-Fit customization to fit any height of rider and cater for the shorter female bikers and its certain to fit any bikers whether they are
tall or short.
This sports cruiser bike is nimble and easy-to- use for daily riding and especially meant for weekend cruising experience. The Vulcan S has a sculpted seat design with thick padding which offer an excellent comfort and good hip support, easy to read instrumentation which feature analogue style tachometer, combine with multi-purpose LED panel, LED tail light, aluminium cast wide wheel and front tyre 120/70/18, rear tyre 160/60/17.
Its swing arm is strong and solid for a more stable ride with a longer wheelbase for balance, meant for better highway stability, the lay-down single shock suspension for handling at sharp corners during high-speed and riding c
omfort. The Vulcan S is also agile as its frame is design with high-tensile steel double pipe perimeter frame-type which resulting a light and easy to handle maneuverability. Made of steel tubing that offers optimum balance of strength and stability, this sporty cruiser is set to take its riders on a speedy yet safe ride. Its under-engine sporty muffler contributes to low center of gravity and tucked out of the way, making it easier to reach ground when stopped, and designed to convey power and style.
