Everyone gets bored, sometimes especially during this Covid-19 movement restriction period (MRO). After more than 30 days without a real ride, occasionally, I warm up my bike’s engine and do a quick dash for food and grocery.

But what 28years old male nurse from Penang, did was drawing attention to himself after posting a video that went viral on Facebook.  The 28yrs male nurse rode his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636 across the Penang Bridge in 2 minutes and 20 seconds with a top speed of over 260km/h.  After completing his run, the young male nurse went and posted the video on Facebook, which went viral and caught the attention of the Royal Malaysian Police force, PDRM. Crossing the 13.5km bridge at that rate might be impressive to some, but not the authorities.

PDRM officers from Penang’s Timur Laut area investigated the video and soon enough, the rider was found and arrested for dangerous and reckless driving. If found guilty, he will be jailed for no more than five years AND fined between RM5,000-RM15,000.

While arresting the young man, the police, found out that the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R 636 was masked with a fake number plate.

#StayAtHome and #StaySafe! So don’t be a #Corvidiot and don’t do stupid and reckless things during this MRO, and we shall ride again very soon!.
