Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. invited us for an evening to chit chat and to preview 3, up-and-coming 250cc models from WMoto and QJ Motors. (Qianjiang Motorcycle).
MForce’s in-house brand WMoto and QJ Motor always follow the strategy of developing advanced technology, modern equipment and quality products with very competitive prices, QJ Motor as a new brand in Malaysia is set to offer the latest specifications and quality.
With the entry of the QJ Motor brand into the Malaysian motorcycle market, it will provide more options to motorcycle enthusiasts in the country as its products include various types of motorcycles, from 250cc to 1300cc, such as recently launched SRT800, SRK600, and now soon to offer is single-sided swing-arm single-cylinder QJ SRK 250 RS and the twin-cylinder SRK 250 RR, along with WMoto’s 1st sport bike model Voge 250RR.
The Operation General Manager of Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd, En. Asri Ahmad said that Mforce these 3 models is currently undergoing extreme road tests in Malaysia racking up 20,000km, while actively conducting endurance tests on several QJ Motor models to ensure the overall quality of the motorcycle is in top condition when launching to the market.
Motorcycle enthusiasts will be able to witness and own sporty bikes from QJ Motor and WMoto brands motorcycles in the third or last quarter of 2022 at Mforce at all authorised MForce dealers nationwide.
WMoto Voge 250RR
MForce is keen to get our point of view on whether to launch these 3 new models, so let us start with WMoto Voge 250RR. A single-piston 249cc
The 250RR arrives with LED lights, upside-down forks, and side fairing. Aluminium swingarm (very nicely solder), LED blinkers, and braking duties are performed by radical callipers and has a chrome-plated exhaust silencer that resembles bigger bike.
Further, it gets the TFT console, two riding modes (Sport and Eco). Under the fairing we get to see liquid-cooled KE250 Loncin single cylinder Single Overhead Cam (SOHC). That MForce claims to produce 29.2 HP at 9750rpm of power and 23Nm/7500rpm.
With 147kgs, the bike is the light. What catches our eyes the most is that the motorcycle adopts a green, blue and light green paint scheme and Wifi/Bluetooth connect to your phone without extra to pay for that connection unlike other brands.
QJ Motor SRK250RS
For me the most interesting bike among the 250cc preview by MForce is the single cylinder 249cc 4v DOHC Liquid-Cooled Engine Racing Replica, model code SRK250RS (QJ250GS-29E). Displacement. 249CC. Maximum power. 20.5KW/9500RPM. Why because of its single sided swing arm and the frontage faring looks like a German 1000cc type superbike!
QJ Motor SRK250RR
Last but not least is the 250cc Inline 2-cylinder, DOHC, 8 valves, Liquid-cooled engine that comes with lightweight steel frame structure, single discs with ABS
Front upside-down fork & mono-shock hydraulic suspension.Hidden underbelly exhaust design. The only letdown is no full-colour TFT display. The thing we really like about this model is the exhaust note, similar to Leoncino 25o, the sound out from the exhaust gives the SRK250RR a bassy exhaust note. My suggestion to MForce is to marry the SRK250RR engine to SRK250RS and add on TFT screen. I recommend this as the market prefers a twin cylinder.
Single-cylinder duty can throw to WMoto Voge 250RR to fill the spot. No price or indication when will these 250’s will be marketed in Malaysia, but MForce has been rigorously testing. Stay tune to us, for all motorcycle review!
