But luck was on Rossi’s side when Lorenzo crashed out a lap after swapping his bike to slicks tyres, as Rossi was still out in the tracks for additional 2 laps, losing around 10 seconds a lap, he was the last rider to come in for a second bike swap after 20 laps and rejoined the track in fifth place. Marquez made the right choice to dive in the pits to change bike, and quickly took back the lead with the track had dried up and the race eventual race winner.top3.big

Bradley Smith’s gamble on slicks thorough out the race, the Monster Yamaha Tech3 rider went with his gut at the San Marino GP and was rewarded with second place on the podium. Smith delivered an exceptional performance in front of 92,315 people to clinch the second MotoGP rostrum of his career after conquering the Misano race in 2nd. EG 0,0 Marc VDS rider Scott Redding claims a career first podium in 3rd. 1st double British riders in MotoGP podium too.
