MAX BIAGGI WILL TESTS HIS RSV4 X FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ASIA AT SEPANG INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT
X was the number of units the Noale Factory produce the RSV4 X which sold at 39,900 Euro (RM189,900) was sold out as soon as it was open!
Only 10 units was produced to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the RSV4. For the first time in Asia, the RSV4 X made its appearance with non-other than Max Biaggi being owner of two RSV4 X.
Max Biaggi will test the RSV4 X on the track of Sepang International Circuit from 3rd to 5th January 2020 with 20 Aprilia owners joining the test together during the track day on the 4th January 2019.
The lightest Aprilia RSV4 X with a dry weight of 165 kg comes with carbon fairing, lightweight tank plus Marchesini forged magnesium wheels magnify the already great history of the RSV4. Max will ride at No Limits Trackday mount with Pirelli slick tyres.
The 1100 cc V4 engine is tuned directly by Aprilia Racing, with the most technology advanced platform applied first to racing bikes and then to factory models.
From 217 HP for the standard model, to RSV4 has up its game to 225 HP. The Aprilia RSV4 X is equipped with the ANN system (Aprilia No Neutral), the gearbox with neutral positioned below first gear that speeds up shifting from first to second and prevents any up-shifting errors. A solution that derives directly from Aprilia’s experience in SBK and MotoGP and that is made available on a model on public sale for the very first time.
Another world first comes in the shape of the Brembo braking system, the firm having selected the Aprilia RSV4 X for the debut of its sophisticated and extremely efficient GP4-MS billet callipers that act on a pair of steel discs with T-Drive technology and are controlled by a 19×16 billet radial pump.
Aprilia RSV4 X is part of the Factory Works programme launched by Aprilia Racing: unique in the world, it takes the technology developed for the Aprilia RSV4, a seven-time Superbike world champion, and makes it available to those planning to compete at high level in production-derived championships or who want a RSV4 with performance optimised for track-use.
