The situation in 2021 is both promising and disappointing. The new vaccines give us hope that we will put this pandemic behind us eventually.
However with record rates of COVID-19 infections throughout much of the world, especially here in Malaysia, clearly the only sensible course of action is to continue to prevent large groups of people gathering.
Preseason Test at Sepang has already been cancelled, and the travel restrictions to Qatar for the season opener in late March are so strict that we believe spectating will be too difficult if not impossible.
