KTM Targets More Glory in 2025
With seven Grand Prix victories and two Sprint wins already under their belt, KTM is aiming to add more trophies to their collection in 2025. Their four-bike effort will feature a mix of experienced race winners and rising stars:
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing:
🏁 Brad Binder (South Africa, 29 years old) – 17 GP wins, 2 in MotoGP
🏁 Pedro Acosta (Spain, 20 years old) – 16 GP wins
Red Bull KTM Tech3:
🏁 Enea Bastianini (Italy, 27 years old) – 13 GP wins, 7 in MotoGP
🏁 Maverick Viñales (Spain, 30 years old) – 26 GP wins, 10 in MotoGP
Together, these four riders have accumulated five world championships and a total of 72 GP wins across all classes, making this KTM’s most formidable line-up to date.

Pedro Acosta Ready to Take the Next Step
After an impressive rookie season in 2024, Pedro Acosta is set to take on his second year in MotoGP™, now as a factory rider alongside Brad Binder. The young Spaniard finished 6th in the 2024 standings, scoring five podiums and proving himself as one of the most exciting new talents in the sport.
Acosta on 2025:
“For sure, 2024 was a good year, but we still have some goals in the pocket. I learned how to control a race and how to adapt to MotoGP. Joining the factory team is a dream come true after coming through Moto3 and Moto2 with KTM. Having Brad as a teammate will be a great advantage because he has so much experience in the class, and I think we will make a great team together. The two biggest areas to improve for 2025 will be qualifying and the first few laps of the race. We had the pace to fight for podiums and wins, but we struggled in qualifying. These will be the most important things to fix this season.”
Binder Eyes Championship Contention
Brad Binder enters his sixth season with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, consistently finishing inside the top six for the past four years. With two MotoGP victories to his name, the South African is hungry for more and believes 2025 could be the year he fights for the title.
Binder on 2025:
“It’s crazy to think that this is already my sixth season in MotoGP. To be honest, 2024 was the year where I probably learned the most. Coming into 2025, I feel like it has made me a much better rider. My goal this season is to take what I learned and make that step forward to fight at the front. We’re not far off – we finished 2nd in the Constructors’ Championship, so we have just one more step to take. Seeing how hard everyone at KTM is working behind the scenes gives me full confidence that we will get there.”

Bastianini and Viñales Bring Experience to KTM
Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales join Red Bull KTM Tech3, bringing a wealth of experience to the team. Bastianini finished 4th in the 2024 standings, scoring nine podiums, while Viñales became the first rider to win MotoGP races with three different manufacturers, taking victory at the 2024 Grand Prix of the Americas.
Bastianini: “I’m very curious about this season. We have to stay calm at the start and understand the bike and team, but I’m very motivated. By the third or fourth race, I think we can be competitive.”
Viñales: “Wearing the Red Bull KTM colors feels great. KTM is a dream team for me, and my first impression of the RC16 was that it’s an absolute beast! It suits my riding style well, and I feel at home on the bike already.”
