Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of the Brixton brand in Malaysia, has recently launched the Cromwell 1200, a model with a 1222cc engine displacement, under the theme “Ride The New Old School”. The introductory price for the first 100 customers is RM55,888.00, and thereafter it will be sold for RM58,888.00 (excluding insurance and road tax). The Cromwell 1200 is available in two optional colors, Backstage Black or Cargo Green, and can be purchased at authorized Brixton dealers across Malaysia.
Powering the Cromwell 1200 is a parallel twin-cylinder, 4-stroke, 8-valve engine, delivering a maximum power output of 83Hp at 6,550rpm and a maximum torque of 108Nm at 3,100rpm. Weighing 235kg, this motorcycle features telescopic suspension at the front and adjustable suspension at the rear for a comfortable ride. In terms of safety, the Brixton Cromwell 1200 is equipped with a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS), with dual hydraulic disc brakes at the front and a hydraulic single disc brake at the rear. Additionally, a traction control system is incorporated to prevent wheel slippage.
The Cromwell 1200 offers two riding modes, Eco and Sport, providing distinct riding experiences. The Sport mode allows for faster throttle response, resulting in a more direct and aggressive feel.
Despite its classic vintage design, the Brixton Cromwell 1200 caters to the preferences of classic motorcycle enthusiasts with a modern touch. Various additional accessories are available for this model, including an aluminium skid plate to protect the engine during off-road rides, a tank pad to safeguard the side of the fuel tank from impacts, and a 10-litre capacity saddlebag made of 100% waterproof material. The saddlebag boasts high-quality craftsmanship and maintains its shape even when empty.
