ROAD TEST: VICTORY 8-BALL VEGAS

I stocked when I got a call from Welly World Cycle Sg Buloh (an authorised distributor of Victory Motorcycle) Kim Seng to review the 1,731 cc. I was bit nervous at first thinking of the big cc the 8-Ball Vegas has but then again when you never try you never know. The Victory Vegas 8-Ball has all it needs to be considered a fairly attractive cruiser. It features a tasty blacked out style with an elegant fuel tank, lean back handlebars, a unique headlight and a fat rear fender.

The motorcycle is powered by an efficient and smooth 6 V-Twin 4 stroke 50° V-twin, fuel injected, counter balanced engine with a displacement of 1,731 cc. The belt driven unit delivers a maximum output of 149 nm of torque and is mated to a six speed overdrive constant mesh transmission with wet, multi-plate clutch.

As far as wheels are concerned, the Victory Vegas 8-Ball rides on tall, 21” custom-look Stingray rims which apart from looking cool, also deliver a smooth ride and easy handling even for a smaller size biker like me. The Vegas has a lower centre of gravity, seems lighter and turns easier also has a slightly more comfortable seat. I think you will be pleasantly surprised as I was before I took the 8-Ball for the review.
