Grand Prix MotoGP Assen: Rossi crowned king in the of Assen

For the first time since Misano 2009 Movistar Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi won from pole position. Valentino Rossi grabbed his third win of the season at the Grand Prix of Assen MotoGP front of Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo. Was a dramatic last lap where Marq and Rossi touch at the final corner, and knocked Rossi out to the gravel, but the veteran Italian with years of experience racing at the top allowed Rossi to react perfectly to the situation, avoiding contact and keeping the throttle open as he raced across the gravel to avoid falling. Rossi leaves Assen with a ten point lead over his teammate Jorge Lorenzo in the championship.

A 7 laps, Marc Marquez attacked and passed Valentino Rossi. A 3 laps remaining, Valentino Rossi Marquez returns by making him outside! The public clamor is impressive! Valentino Rossi took the opportunity to accelerate and try to let go of Marc Marquez once and for all.

After a last-minute attempt, the two pilots touch in the chicane, Rossi goes into the gravel, but won his third win of the season!
