Despite encountering minor crashes, Acosta demonstrated his potential, leading the likes of Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Johann Zarco (CASTROL Honda LCR).
Acosta’s impressive performance, despite the setbacks, has set a positive tone for his team as they head into the Official Sepang Test. Utilizing KTM’s carbon chassis on both GASGAS bikes on the final day hinted at the team’s direction for the upcoming season. With three more testing days ahead, Acosta, along with his teammates and competitors, is poised to explore new parts and strategies.
