A NIGHT OF CELEBRATION WITH JPM MOTORSPORTS
The evening was filled with glitz and glamour as JPM Motorsports recently held a celebratory event at the JPM Museo in Kota Damansara as Summernats Malaysia 2014 comes to a full closure. Guests were treated to the display of marvellous blockbuster machines that were at the event, and one lucky owner drove home a brand new Nissan Sylphy tuned by Impul, the lucky draw grand prize of the event.
The inaugural Summernats Malaysia that was held at the Sepang International Circuit over the Merdeka weekend of 29 – 31 August, 2014 attracted more than 45,000 people over a three day period. With signature events such as the Summernats Judging Pavilion Auto Saloon competiton, Summernats Street Parade and Burn-out Demonstrations, spectators were further entertained with the Affinbank Auto Fair, which featured prominent brands such as Nissan, Porsche, Lotus, R3, Proton, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Land Rover, Moto Guzzi and MV Agusta.
In what was a record first time, runners and cyclists also congregated on the Sepang Circuit during Summernats Malaysia for the 11.08km Merdeka Run and Biggest Merdeka Bicycle Gathering, doing what they love together for 2-hours on the 5.543km F1 circuit during Merdeka Day.
To further reward the audience that were present at Summernats Malaysia, the organisers held a lucky draw contest for the duration of the event. The grand prize, which was a Nissan Sylphy tuned by Impul was eventually won by the lucky Chong Min Shih.
The official hand-over ceremony for the car was eventually completed at the A Night of Celebration, where JPM Motorsports also announced the winner of the Supercar Interclub Challenge, where the the winner of the Fastest of Summernats Malaysia was Tan Sri Azman Yahya, while the winning club was Lamborghini Owners Malaysia.
