If the 150cc 6 geared Yamaha M-Slaz was launch in Malaysia, first the M-Slaz would be a replacement for decade old Yamaha FZ150. First launched in Dec 2015 in Thailand.
But sadly M-Slaz never went pass Vehicle Type Approval (VTA).
But here we are getting our hands to review the only registered M-Slaz in Malaysia. I’m sure there is another one laying around somewhere in Malaysia. VTA bikes usually comes in a pair to Malaysia for JPJ testing.
First Ride: With inverted front suspension, that gives a better and handling riding performance, an upright riding position, LED headlight with minimalist look for streetfighter styling.
Only thing lacking is the engine performance, main reason for Yamaha to explore R15 concept which is 155cc, the added 5cc and lighter weight frame, gives the 155cc engine a little more top end performance.
We’ll give our full review soon.
