The Yamaha YZF-R15M has landed in India up with latest improvements.

Among the most salient aspects is the overall design of this R15M which is inspired by the latest model, the Yamaha YZF-R7.

The two-light setting is now replaced with a single LED light flanked by two DRL (daytime running light) LED lights.

The side panel section also resembles the R7 and serves to create better aerodynamics by reducing the ‘drag’ level from 0.307 to 0.293.

Meanwhile, the sub-frame section has also been strengthened to improve the balance of the machinery.

Among the other features introduced are USD type forks and seats with carbon fiber-style finish, front and rear brake discs with the help of dual-channel ABS.

The Yamaha R15M is also equipped with a digital LCD display with Yamaha Y-Connect function that can be connected to a smartphone using Bluetooth.

But what steals the attention, this R15M also comes with quickshifter and traction control functions as well as presenting a more interesting riding experience.

According to reports, the quickshifter will be activated as soon as the machine exceeds 20km or the engine rpm exceeds 2,000rpm.

The Yamaha R15M is still powered by a 155cc single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling that is matched to a 6-speed manual transmission and offers 18.3hp and 14.1Nm.
