The two campaigns involve different components and should not be confused. For the QJMOTOR AX200S, the recall concerns potential cracking of the muffler assembly on selected units. For the Keeway XDV180 Evo, the newly announced recall concerns potential durability issues involving the swingarm assembly on selected motorcycles.
Both brands are officially distributed in Malaysia by MForce Bike Holdings, and affected owners will receive the required replacement components free of charge, including parts and labour.
QJMOTOR AX200S: Muffler Replacement Recall
The AX200S recall is not a newly initiated campaign. QJMOTOR Malaysia first launched its muffler replacement programme on 17 March 2026 after identifying the possibility of cracking in the muffler assembly on selected AX200S motorcycles.
On 17 August 2026, QJMOTOR Malaysia issued a further reminder because it is continuing efforts to ensure that all affected motorcycles receive the required work.
According to QJMOTOR Malaysia, a newly upgraded muffler has been specifically redesigned to provide improved durability and better long-term performance.
Owners who have not yet registered for the programme are being strongly encouraged to check their motorcycle and complete the recall if their unit is affected.
The entire replacement — new muffler plus installation labour — is free of charge.
Keeway XDV180 Evo: Swingarm Recall Announced
The second recall involves the Keeway XDV180 Evo, with Keeway Malaysia officially announcing its Product Recall Program on 22 August 2026.
This recall is specifically related to the motorcycle’s swingarm assembly.
Keeway Malaysia says potential durability issues have been identified on the swingarm assembly of selected units. The recall is being carried out to ensure rider safety and maintain the motorcycle’s structural durability.
For affected motorcycles, Keeway Malaysia will install a newly redesigned swingarm.
According to the company, the upgraded component has been specially engineered to provide enhanced structural strength and improved long-term stability during riding.
As with the QJMOTOR campaign, affected Keeway owners will not be charged for either the replacement swingarm or the labour required to install it.

Importantly, these announcements do not mean that every AX200S or XDV180 Evo on Malaysian roads necessarily requires replacement.
