– Malaysia-based MKA Group has been recognised at the 5th Asia Automotive Awards 2025, winning the Automotive Two-Wheel Brand Growth Award in acknowledgement of its strong regional and international expansion within the two-wheel mobility sector.
The awards ceremony took place on 17 January 2026 in Bangkok, gathering key industry figures, manufacturers, and stakeholders from across Asia. Now in its fifth edition, the Asia Automotive Awards continues to serve as a major regional platform recognising excellence in innovation, manufacturing, sustainability, leadership, and industry collaboration across the automotive and motorcycle industries.
MKA Group’s award reflects the collective performance and growing global footprint of its core brands RCB, UMA Racing, Solfili, and R9, alongside its distributor portfolio that includes KYT, Suomy, ARC, Ipone, PBR, Galfer, CZ Chain, and aRacer. Together, these brands have strengthened MKA Group’s presence across Asia and key international markets, catering to both performance-focused riders and everyday commuters.
“This award is a meaningful milestone for MKA Group and our entire team,” said Bruce Lee, Group CEO of MKA Group. “It reflects the consistent growth of our brands across regional and global markets, driven by innovation, performance, and value-driven mobility solutions.”
MKA Group is entering its next phase of development with the upcoming MKA Innovation Center, a facility designed to support high-performance segments such as MotoGP, superbike racing, and the wider motorsports industry. The centre will enhance the Group’s capabilities in advanced manufacturing, research and development, and comprehensive product testing. In line with MKA Group’s long-term vision, the facility is also designed with sustainability in mind, featuring an ESG-compliant framework and Green RE Platinum certification.
Among MKA Group’s brands, RCB (formerly Racing Boy) has grown into a globally recognised performance components name, operating in 28 countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Japan, South Korea, and key European markets such as Italy, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. With R&D operations in Italy and active participation in CIMA and EICMA, RCB continues to expand its presence through motorsports-inspired engineering and product innovation.
UMA Racing continues to build on its strong motorsports DNA by exporting racing-derived technologies to international markets, while Solfili focuses on delivering practical, quality-driven components for everyday mobility across diverse regions.
Founded in 2013, MKA Group was established to consolidate the businesses of Meng Kah Auto Parts Trading Sdn. Bhd. under a unified group structure. Since then, the Group has expanded steadily through innovation-led growth, positioning itself as a key Malaysian player in the global two-wheel mobility ecosystem.
MKA Group was represented at the awards ceremony by Mr Lim Chee Chet (Jack), Group HR Director, and Mr Ben Eng Wei Ping, Sales Director, who received the award on behalf of the Group at the Asia Automotive Awards Night.
