Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is set to disrupt the two-wheel industry with the announcement of a world-first concept: the “Skuchai”. By investing RM10 million into research, development, and design, Mforce is moving beyond conventional market offerings to bridge the gap between two of Malaysia’s favorite motorcycle formats.
The name “Skuchai” represents a revolutionary fusion of three distinct elements integrated into a single, all-new platform:
- Scooter Styling: Ergonomics and comfort designed for modern riders.
- Kapchai (Moped) Engine: A durable and lightweight 200cc engine architecture.
- CVT Transmission: Fully automatic technology for a twist-and-go riding experience
This hybrid approach creates a new segment in the industry, offering the lightweight agility of a moped with the seamless, gear-free convenience of a scooter.
Local Creativity Meets Global Engineering
The development of this 200cc model is a strategic collaboration between Mforce and a technology partner in China. While the technical integration utilized international expertise, the soul of the “Skuchai” is Malaysian. Local engineers were responsible for the initial conceptualization, design sketches, and the creation of the clay models.
The prototype has been completed and is currently undergoing rigorous durability testing. These evaluations include simulations of daily urban commuting and long-distance travel to ensure the platform meets high safety and quality standards.
- Public Debut: The “Skuchai” will be showcased for the first time at the Malaysia Bike Show 2026 this May.
- Official Launch: Expected in the first quarter of 2027, following the completion of final production preparations
With a portfolio that already includes brands like Benelli, SYM, and WMOTO, Mforce’s latest homegrown innovation marks a significant leap forward for the Malaysian automotive landscape
