Castrol Malaysia powers “eHailing Heroes” to Support Ahead of Visit Malaysia 2026

Castrol Malaysia has rolled out a new initiative called eHailing Heroes, a 12-month programme designed to ease vehicle maintenance costs for e-hailing drivers while helping ensure smoother, more reliable rides for passengers during Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026).

The programme was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and the Association of Public Transport Consumers Malaysia (4PAM), reflecting a shared push to strengthen the country’s tourism transport ecosystem ahead of the year-long celebration.

eHailing Heroes was officially unveiled at a press conference held at Rom 8 Studio, officiated by Yang Berusaha Encik Mohd Akbal Setia, Senior Director of Advertising and Digital at Tourism Malaysia and Head of Secretariat for Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

In its first phase, the programme will support up to 3,000 e-hailing vehicles, starting with drivers in the Klang Valley. Participants will benefit from subsidised Castrol MAGNATEC servicing, dedicated vehicle branding, and access to Castrol Auto Service workshops nationwide.

Drivers who clock 8,000 kilometres of verified mileage will earn an RM80 Castrol MAGNATEC service package e-voucher, covering engine oil, oil filter, and labour — redeemable at participating Castrol Auto Service outlets.

By addressing one of the biggest cost pressures facing e-hailing drivers, Castrol Malaysia hopes to play a part in keeping Malaysia’s roads — and its tourism ambitions — running smoothly through 2026 and beyond.
