Torrential afternoon rain caused a flash flood in Petaling Jaya whereby Ducati Malaysia showroom is located.

Photos were circulated on Whatsapp and subsequently gone viral on social networks. The flash floods looked like it started from heavy downpour earlier in the afternoon and overflowed out of the monsoon drain behind the Naza showroom.

The team from  Next Bike Sdn Bhd is aware of the flash flood at the Ducati Malaysia, PJ showroom and is assessing its condition. The situation is under control and that no injuries were reported. It is our highest priority to safeguard the interests and confidence of our customers, employees and the public even during unforeseen phenomena as such.

The team at Naza has already reached out to customers whose bikes are currently in their custody to inform them that their bikes are in order.

Bikes that are not started and properly dried would limit damage on the bikes involved, draining the fluids and hopefully, the ECU and the electronics are not badly affected.

Ducati will from time to time provide us an update on this matter.
