KYT & Suomy Helmets Customer Trackday @Horizon Beranang Circuit

KYT Helmets Malaysia, together with SUOMY, organized its inaugural KYT Customer Day Track Experience, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts and KYT riders for a day of adrenaline, learning, and community spirit at the Horizon Beranang Circuit in Selangor.

As a participant we experienced the event first-hand, and it was clear that KYT Malaysia’s objective extended beyond simply offering riders track time. The event was designed to create a safe environment where riders could improve their skills, gain confidence, and better understand the capabilities of both themselves and their motorcycles.

A Track Day for Everyone

Unlike many exclusive track events that cater mainly to experienced racers, the KYT Customer Day welcomed riders of various skill levels. Whether it was a first-time track rider or a seasoned enthusiast looking to sharpen their skills, the event provided a structured and controlled environment for everyone to enjoy.

Held from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on 27 June 2026, the event attracted riders from across Malaysia, all sharing a common passion for motorcycles and riding safety.

According to KYT Malaysia, the event was created to strengthen the connection between the brand and its customers while encouraging safer and more confident riding through controlled track activities.

“We are excited to host our first-ever KYT Customer Day, bringing together our customers and motorcycle enthusiasts for an unforgettable track experience. This event reflects our commitment to supporting the riding community while encouraging safer and more confident riding through controlled track activities,” said a representative from KYT Malaysia.

Building a Stronger Riding Community

Speaking during the event, MKA Group Director, Doc Dol, emphasized that the KYT Customer Day Track Experience is more than just another track day.

“Safety, performance, and community have always been at the heart of the KYT brand. The KYT Customer Day Track Experience is an opportunity for riders to experience the capabilities of their motorcycles in a controlled environment, improve their riding skills, and connect with fellow enthusiasts who share the same passion for motorcycling. As this is our first KYT Customer Day in Malaysia, we are excited to bring our customers closer to the brand and create memorable experiences that strengthen our riding community.”

The event successfully delivered on that vision, with riders spending as much time networking and sharing experiences in the paddock as they did on the circuit.

Structured Riding Groups for Safety

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, riders were divided into three groups:

  • Group A – Motorcycles above 250cc (Full racing suit mandatory)
  • Group B – Motorcycles below 250cc (Full racing suit mandatory)
  • Group C – Open category for riders meeting minimum safety requirements

This structure allowed riders to enjoy the circuit among participants with similar motorcycle performance levels and riding experience.

Safety Comes First

One of the highlights of the event was KYT’s strong emphasis on rider safety.

Participants were required to wear:

  • KYT or SUOMY full-face helmets equipped with a Double D-Ring fastening system
  • Riding jackets with shoulder, elbow, and back protectors
  • Riding gloves
  • Knee guards or knee protectors
  • Suitable riding shoes or sports footwear

While these were the minimum requirements, riders using full racing suits, racing gloves, and racing boots enjoyed an added level of protection and confidence on track.

As expected from a helmet brand that has built its reputation around protection and performance, safety standards were taken seriously throughout the day.

Affordable Access to the Track

One aspect that stood out was the accessibility of the event.

Participation fees were set at:

  • RM50 for KYT and SUOMY helmet users
  • RM100 for non-KYT and non-SUOMY riders

With only 100 slots available, the event offered exceptional value for riders looking to experience track riding without the higher costs often associated with larger circuit events.

Having experienced the KYT Customer Day Track Experience first-hand, we believe the event achieved exactly what it set out to do.

The atmosphere was welcoming, the organization was smooth, and most importantly, riders left with more confidence, more knowledge, and bigger smiles than when they arrived.

In an era where rider education and safety are becoming increasingly important, initiatives like this deserve recognition. By giving everyday riders a safe place to explore the limits of their motorcycles and improve their skills, KYT Malaysia is helping to cultivate a stronger and more responsible riding community.

The success of this inaugural event suggests that the KYT Customer Day Track Experience could become a regular fixture on Malaysia’s motorcycle calendar, and based on what we witnessed at Horizon Beranang Circuit, many riders will be eagerly waiting for the next edition.

Track days are not about racing. They are about learning, understanding your motorcycle, and becoming a better rider in a controlled environment. Events like the KYT Customer Day Track Experience provide riders with a safer alternative to exploring their limits on public roads, and that is something every motorcyclist can appreciate.
