Mforce Smartshop Opens New Outlet in Pusing, Perak — With the All-New WMOTO Griffin 205 RM8,888

Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. marked a double milestone in Perak this weekend, celebrating the grand opening of Mforce Smartshop Kedai Motor Yoon Loi while simultaneously rolling out its newest model, the WMOTO Griffin 205, into the Malaysian market.

The event was held at the new outlet in Taman Ria, Pusing, from 9am to 1pm, bringing together riders, dealers and motorcycle enthusiasts for a morning that doubled as both a store launch and a product debut.

A New Home for Riders in Pusing

Kedai Motor Yoon Loi now joins the Mforce Smartshop network as a full-fledged showroom and motorcycle service centre, offering sales, servicing and genuine parts under one roof. For riders in Pusing and the surrounding Kinta Valley area, it means easier access to Mforce and WMOTO models, along with after-sales support closer to home.

The new outlet is located at: 1 & 2, Jalan Ria 1, Taman Ria 1, 31550 Pusing, Perak

Introducing the WMOTO Griffin 205

Fittingly, the grand opening also served as the official market release of the WMOTO Griffin 205, described by the brand as Malaysia’s new urban adventure scooter. The Griffin 205 was first unveiled to the public at the Malaysia Bike Show (Mforce MotoXperience 2026) on 29 May, where it appeared alongside 15 other new models — but its formal on-sale launch was saved for the Yoon Loi opening.

Priced at RM8,888 (excluding road tax and insurance), the Griffin 205 is available in four colourways: Glacier Grey, Action Blue, Xtreme White and Nitro Red — each finished with the sporty, crossover-inspired styling WMOTO is positioning as a fit for both daily commuting and longer, medium-distance rides.

Under the Skin

The Griffin 205 is powered by a 198cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine, producing 14.5kW at 8,250rpm and 17.5N·m of torque at 6,500rpm, with a compression ratio of 11.6:1 and a 65 x 59.9mm bore and stroke. Power reaches the road through a CVT transmission with automatic clutch, while EFI, an ECU ignition system and an electric starter round out the package. An 11-litre fuel tank supports longer rides between fill-ups.

Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks, while braking comes from single discs front and rear backed by a dual-channel ABS system. The scooter rides on 100/80-14 front and 120/70-14 rear tyres, with a 1,970mm length, 790mm seat height, 100mm ground clearance, 126kg dry weight and a maximum load capacity of 276kg.

Tech and Safety Features

WMOTO has loaded the Griffin 205 with a fairly generous features list for its class:

  • TFT instrument display
  • USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports
  • Switchable Traction Control System (TCS)
  • Full LED lighting, including headlight, tail light, signal lights and hazard lights
  • Emergency Signal Button
  • Front camera support for third-party dash-cam apps, plus Carbit Ride app connectivity (Android and iOS)
  • Side stand safety switch and left handlebar control switch
  • Left front storage pocket, 12V 8Ah gel battery, winglets, sporty muffler, oil strainer and a Body Stabilizer for added stability and a more dynamic stance

Every Griffin 205 purchase comes with a 2-year or 20,000km manufacturer’s warranty (whichever comes first), along with access to Mforce Bike Holdings’ online genuine parts purchase service.

Two Launches, One Address

Pairing the store opening with the Griffin 205’s release gives Perak riders a single destination to see the new model in person, speak to the team, and get a first-hand look at what the Smartshop network offers going forward. It’s also a signal of intent from Mforce Bike Holdings, which has been steadily expanding its retail footprint alongside its model line-up since taking WMOTO to market in 2018.
