Good news for rugged motorcycles or scramblers fans when the local motorcycle brand, WMoto, is releasing the SX2-300 with a recommended selling price of RM18,888.00 excluding insurance and road tax. There are three colour options, namely red, black and white. This motorcycle is already on the market, and you can get it at any WMoto authorized distributor throughout Malaysia.
Technically, the WMoto SX2-300 uses an engine with a displacement of 292.4cc, a single 4-stroke cylinder, and can offer a power transmission as high as 28Hp at 9,000rpm and a maximum torque of 25Nm at 6,500rpm. It is also matched to a six-speed transmission for high efficiency. Of course, you can even master the on-road off-road track with ease.
In addition, the WMoto SX2-300 features an inverted fork-type front suspension for more responsive handling and a single absorber on the high-intensity rear suspension section for best-class force, providing a more comfortable and smoother ride. This scrambler motorcycle is also equipped with an anti-lock brake system or ABS to increase the level of safety while riding. Although this motorcycle category is typically used for track use, riders can choose to disable the ABS and reactivate it when using this motorcycle on the regular road.
The SX2-300 model also has a hand guard to prevent dirt or injury to the rider’s knuckles. Meanwhile, it is equipped with new style front, and rear lights on the lighting side and uses full LED lights for more spacious and bright lighting.
According to the Chief Operating Officer of MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd, Encik Asri Ahmad, before this model was sold for the Malaysian market, MForce had supplied some WMoto SX2-300 motorcycle units to the Royal Malaysian Armed Forces to maintain border security through the OPS Benteng program.
