Three motorcycles. Three very different riders. And prices starting from RM28,888.
ZXMOTO has officially arrived in Malaysia with exciting new 3 models: 500F, 500RR and 820RR, giving Malaysian riders a surprisingly broad choice from a high-revving four-cylinder naked bike to a flagship 818.8cc triple-cylinder supersport.
Unveiled during the “Rise of the Champions, ZXMOTO Official Launch”, held in conjunction with the Mforce Mid-Autumn Gala 2026, the three motorcycles represent distinctly different sides of the ZXMOTO brand.
And the pricing immediately gets everyone’s attention:
| Model | Engine | Max Power | Torque | Price |
| ZXMOTO 500F | 470cc inline-four | 54 kW / ~72.4 hp | 48 Nm | RM28,888 |
| ZXMOTO 500RR | 470.2cc inline-four | 62 kW / ~83.1 hp | 46 Nm | RM29,988 |
| ZXMOTO 820RR | 818.8cc inline-three | 99 kW / ~132.7 hp | 80 Nm | RM39,888 |
ZXMOTO 500F — The Everyday Four-Cylinder Modern Retro Street Bike

At RM28,888, the ZXMOTO 500F could be one of the trio’s most interesting models because it combines a relatively approachable naked-bike package with something increasingly uncommon in this category: a four-cylinder engine.
The 500F uses a 470cc, four-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC engine producing 54 kW at 11,000 rpm and 48 Nm at 9,500 rpm. That’s about 72.4 hp, paired with a wet multi-plate slipper clutch.
It gets an inverted front fork with adjustable damping, a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, twin 300mm floating front discs, 220mm rear disc and dual-channel ABS.
Tyres are proper big-bike sizes too: 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear.
With a 795mm seat height, 175kg curb weight and 15-litre tank, the dimensions suggest a motorcycle that should remain reasonably manageable for everyday use.
Technology includes TCS, TPMS, Eco and Sport riding modes, DRL, LED lighting, USB charging and an analogue/LCD instrument arrangement.
Who is the 500F for?
This is the one we’d point to the rider who wants a modern-day classic but with a 4-cylinder bike, but doesn’t necessarily want the committed riding position or bodywork of a supersport.
It’s also potentially attractive to riders who miss the sound and character of smaller-capacity inline-fours.

Available colours are Phantom Black, Crimson Red and Arctic White.
ZXMOTO 500RR — This Is Where Things Get Serious

Spend another RM1,100 and you reach the RM29,988 ZXMOTO 500RR.
And this isn’t simply a 500F wearing fairings.
While displacement remains similar at 470.2cc, the liquid-cooled four-cylinder produces considerably more peak power: 62 kW at 13,500 rpm, equivalent to approximately 83.1 hp, with 46 Nm arriving at 11,500 rpm.
Its compression ratio also rises to 12.9:1. That 13,500rpm peak-power figure tells you something about the personality ZXMOTO is chasing. This engine wants revs. The chassis specification backs that up.
There are 41mm inverted forks with fully adjustable preload and damping, while the rear monoshock is also fully adjustable. Braking steps up to twin 320mm floating front discs, accompanied by a 240mm rear disc and dual-channel ABS.
The 500RR weighs 170kg, has a 795mm seat and rides on 120/70 ZR17 and 180/55 ZR17 tyres. Then we get to the electronics. There’s a TFT display, five riding modes, bidirectional quickshifter, Bluetooth connectivity and even cruise control.
Who is the 500RR for?
This should be aimed squarely at the rider who wants the supersport experience without immediately jumping into a 600cc/800cc-class machine.
It’s especially interesting for younger performance riders, weekend corner hunters and riders who may eventually want to explore track riding.
The 170kg curb weight is another number we’re particularly interested. Use of titanium and alloy breaks the Made in China motorcycles are heavy metal.

Available in Nitro Red, Onyx Black and Frost White.

ZXMOTO 820RR — The Flagship Has Arrived
And then there is the bike everyone is going to talk about.
ZXMOTO 820RR. Price? RM39,888.
Underneath the bodywork sits an 818.8cc inline-three, 12-valve DOHC engine, using liquid and oil cooling.
Output is 99 kW at 12,000rpm — approximately 132.7 hp — with 80 Nm at 9,500rpm.
Compression ratio is a serious 13:1.
The 820RR also receives fully adjustable front and rear suspension.
Braking comes from twin 320mm floating front discs and a 220mm rear disc, with switchable dual-channel ABS.
Rear tyre size increases to 190/55 ZR17, while ZXMOTO specifies an aluminium-alloy cast frame.
Wet weight is 193kg, seat height 825mm and fuel capacity is a useful 18 litres.
And ZXMOTO hasn’t been shy with the electronics.
The 820RR gets:
TFT instrumentation, keyless operation, five riding modes, bidirectional quickshifter, TCS, TPMS, Bluetooth, cruise control, USB charging and LED lighting.
Who is the 820RR for?
This isn’t really the beginner’s ZXMOTO.
It’s aimed at experienced sportbike riders who want substantially more performance than the 500RR but are also looking at the performance-per-ringgit equation.
At RM39,888, the combination of an 818.8cc triple, roughly 133 hp, adjustable suspension, quickshifter, rider modes and electronic rider aids makes the specification sheet particularly aggressive.
The question we now are askinng is simple: Does the riding experience live up to those numbers?

Available colours are Eclipse Black, Rebel Red and Ghost White.
Three Bikes, Three Different Buyers
What’s clever about the ZXMoto’s Malaysian line-up is that the motorcycles aren’t necessarily fighting each other.
The 500F is the street bike for the casual rider and enjoy the 4-cylinder sound.
The 500RR is the accessible supersport for new riders.
The 820RR is the flagship performance machine where by rider who looking for an alternative from the conventional Japanese and continental bikes brand
And there’s another important consideration for riders looking at a relatively new brand in Malaysia: after-sales support. Mforce states that all three motorcycles come with a two-year/20,000km comprehensive warranty. If 20,000km is exceeded during that two-year period, engine components continue to receive unlimited-mileage warranty coverage for the remainder of the warranty period. ZXMOTO Malaysia also provides an online original spare-parts purchasing service. Terms and conditions apply.
For ZXMOTO, this isn’t simply the launch of three motorcycles.
It’s the beginning of the brand’s challenge for a slice of Malaysia’s increasingly competitive performance-bike market.

And from an enthusiast’s perspective, more competition is exactly what we want.
