We had the opportunity to experience our first ride on the all-new ZXMoto 500RR at the MForce Malaysia Factory in Penang, and first impressions suggest that this fully-faired middleweight sportbike could be an interesting option for Malaysian riders looking for style, performance, and value.

At first glance, the ZXMoto 500RR boasts aggressive supersport-inspired styling, complete with sharp bodywork, aerodynamic winglets, and a riding position that strikes a balance between sporty intent and everyday usability.

Out on the road, the 500cc twin-cylinder machine delivers smooth and predictable power, making it approachable for newer riders while still offering enough excitement for experienced enthusiasts. The throttle response is friendly, and the bike feels light and manageable through corners, giving riders confidence from the very first few kilometres.
The suspension setup provides a comfortable ride without sacrificing stability, while the braking performance proved reassuring during our initial test. The ergonomics are less extreme than a full-fledged supersport, making the ZXMoto 500RR a practical choice for both weekend rides and daily commuting.

Of course, this was only our first ride impression, and a more comprehensive review will follow after spending more time with the motorcycle. However, based on our initial experience, the ZXMoto 500RR has certainly made a positive impression and could become a strong contender in Malaysia’s growing middleweight sportbike segment.

Stay tuned to i-Moto.my for our full review, detailed specifications, pricing updates, and riding impressions of the all-new ZXMoto 500RR.
